Dons Remain Undefeated Against Palomar

SANTA ANA- Women's soccer scored their fourth consecutive win of the season against Palomar College.

Goalkeeper freshman Reyna Campos had two saves to start the first half of the game. In the 20th minute, Palomar scored against the Dons. The Dons ended the half by taking seven total shots on Palomar.

In the second half of the match, the Dons fought back offensively by scoring two goals to take the lead from the Comets. In the 74th minute, freshman Mykayla Perkins scored from the outside, straight into the bottom left-hand corner. Three minutes later sophomore Vivian Garcia scored and was assisted by freshman Margaret (Peggy) Zisk to hold the winning streak for the Dons at 2-1.

Women's soccer will play again on Friday, Sept. 9, against El Camino College at Santa Ana College at 3:00 p.m.
