SANTA ANA- Volleyball takes a loss to the Tigers at 3-0. 

In the first set of the match, the Dons took the two points. The Tigers won the first set 25-23.

During the second set, Riverside scored the four points, but then sophomore Viridiana Serrano came in with a kill at 4-1. Freshman Hannah De Grasse and sophomore Haylie Slater each had a block assist for the Dons.  Riverside City College took the win in the second set at 25-14.

In the beginning of the third period, Hannah De Grasse and freshman Mikelle Taylor led with two kills and led the Gauchos at 3-2. Hannah De Grasse attacked with an ace at tied the set at 7-7. Kassandra Murillo also had a kill for the Dons in the third set, but it wasn't enough for the win and the Dons lost the set at 25-17 and the match at 3-0

 Dons volleyball will play again on Oct. 28 at Saddleback at 6:00 p.m.
