CERRITOS, Calif. – Santa Ana Wrestling sent four competitors to the CCCAA State Championships that kicked off on Friday at Cerritos College.

Fuentes - Norikiyo pulled off an upset in the second round of the 141 pound division, defeating the northern two seed in Logan Garcia of Lassen College by a score of 12-3. On Saturday, he will Josh Brown of Cerritos for a shot to advance to the championship round.

After winning the SoCal Regionals last week, Luis Vargas was seeded No. 1 in the south to earn himself a bye in the first round. Vargas then defeated Conrad Trevino from Sacramento City to solidify his spot in the semifinals on Saturday.
