SANTA ANA - The Dons hosted Cypress College today in an Orange Empire Conference match but lost to the visiting Chargers 20-2. The loss drops the Dons to 0-5 overall and 0-3 in conference while Cypress improves to 4-11 and 1-2.

The Chargers grabbed an 8-0 lead after the first quarter and went up 9-0 before Bernadette Raichel scored the Dons first goal of the match in the second quarter. By halftime, Cypress held an 11-1 lead.

The second half continued to be all Cypress as the Chargers scored six-straight goals through the third and fourth quarters before Isabel Chavez scored the Dons second goal. Ultimately, Cypress would add three more goals for the 20-2 victory.
