Trujillo Leads SAC Cross Country to 16th Place at Biola Invite

FULLERTON, Calif. - Aldo Trujillo led the way for the Santa Ana Men's Cross Country team as they finished 16th in the Biola Invitational at Craig Regional Park on Friday morning. 

Trujillo crossed the tape with a time of 27:30, beating the time he posted in the previous week (30:00.1) by about two and a half minutes. The second man in for the Dons was Bryce Tanikawa, who clocked in at 29:32.4.

Following them were Diego Espinoza (33:03.0), Miguel Zarco (33:39.8) and Angel Sicilia (35:02.7). 

The Dons were much improved in this race, which gave them the 6th best time out of 10 community colleges. 

Santa Ana will take a break until lacing up their shoes for the Golden West Classic at Central Park in Huntington Beach on September 24th.
