HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. – On Friday, Apr. 28th the Santa Ana College Beach Volleyball competed in the Orange Empire Conference Pairs Championships held at Newland Huntington Beach.

Viridiana Serrano and Mikelle Taylor represented the highest ranked team for the Dons in the tournament. The duo went 4-1 on the day, finishing fifth overall and qualifying for the state tournament. They also earned Orange Empire First-Team All-Conference honors for their efforts.

Haylie Slater and Kassandra Murillo teamed up to earn OEC Second-Team All-Conference honors after finishing 1-1 in the conference tournament.

The Dons will send Serrano and Taylor to participate in the state tournament on Saturday, May 6th at West Valley College starting at 10:00 AM.
