Serrano Signs with Kansas Wesleyan

SANTA ANA, Calif. –  Viridiana Serrano has signed her letter of intent to attend Kansas Wesleyan University after two years at Santa Ana.

The outside hitter from Godinez High redshirted one year at Humboldt State University before landing with Dons for the 2016-17 season. During that season she helped the Dons to 11 wins while earning All Orange Empire First Team Honors.

Serrano also excelled in beach volleyball for the Dons, teaming up with Mikelle Taylor for to qualify for the CCCAA State Championships last season. The duo placed fifth overall in the OEC and was tabbed to the All Conference First Team.

Before heading to Kansas, Serrano will finish out her Santa Ana career with the 2018 beach volleyball season starting on Friday against Riverside City.
