SANTA ANA - For the eighth straight year, the Key to the County remained at Fullerton College after the Hornets (5-2) defeated the Dons (3-3) 49-14 at Santa Ana Stadium. This year's game was the 92nd meeting overall and 70th consecutive.

Fullerton scored twice in the first quarter to take a 14-0 lead before Lincoln Faletoi found Hayden Dunn for a one-yard touchdown pass late in the second quarter. However, Fullerton would manufacture another scoring drive to go up 21-7 heading into the half.

The Hornets scored immediately in the second half as Marnez Ogletree returned the opening kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown to put the Hornets up 28-7.
