SANTA ANA, Calif. – The Santa Ana College Softball team took on the Fullerton Hornets on Wednesday, Mar. 22nd in another Orange Empire Conference game.

The Dons lost the matchup 5-1 and now sit at an overall record of 13-11, and 5-5 in conference play.

Center fielder Kasey Hutton was a bright spot for the Dons, as she posted three hits and scored a run, while catcher Raven Sapla contributed with a hit and a RBI.

Dons pitcher Pricilla De La Torre got the start and only allowed two earned runs. Celeste Hernandez took over on the mound in the top of the sixth, only allowing one earned run in two innings of work.

Santa Ana heads to Santiago Canyon College to compete in another OEC showdown on Friday, Mar. 24th at 2:00 PM.
