LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The Santa Ana Men's Track & Field team continued its season by competing at the Occidental Distance Carnival on Saturday, March 12th.

Aldo Trujillo, Nathan Fisher and Joshua Maguire all raced in the 5K while Eder Diaz represented the Dons in the long jump.

There was stiff competition in the 5K event with many universities and community colleges joining the field for a total of 247 runners.

Trujillo was the first one across the finish line for SAC, finishing at a time of 15:28.49 for 113th place. Fisher was next in as he placed 178th with a time of 16:01.97. Not far behind was Maguire, who clocked in at 16:30.76 to place 220th to round out the Don racers.

In the long jump event, Diaz posted a mark of 5.59M to take 17th place out of 19 jumpers.

The Dons hope to get healthy and see the majority of their team competing at their next event on April 9th when SAC travels to Glendale College for the Vaquero Invitational.
