The Santa Ana College (SAC) women's soccer team snapped its three-game losing streak with a 0-0 tie against visiting Irvine Valley College in an Orange Empire Conference match.

The Dons (5-10-1, 4-6-1), however, have now been held scoreless in four straight matches. For the Lasers (2-10-3, 1-8-2) this was their second straight tie after playing Golden West College to a 1-1 tie.

Both teams had one strong scoring chance late in the game with the first one belonging to the Lasers when Kathryn Moyneur fired a shot off the crossbar in the 66th minute.

The Dons best opportunity came in the 86th minute but Maria Ayala's shot also hit off the crossbar.

Stephanie Hernandez turned away both shots she faced for the Dons while IVC's Amanda Rashtian made seven saves for the Lasers.
