HUNTINGTON BEACH - The Dons opened the 2013 season at Golden West College against the host Rustler, Cypress College and Riverside City College.

Despite losing all three matches, the Dons did get strong individual performances led by Monica Oropeza who took third place in the 100-yard freestyle and fourth place in the 200-yard freestyle.

Jasmin Pannier followed with a sixth place finish in the 50-yard back stroke as well as an eighth place finish in the 100-yard back stroke.

Next up for the Dons is the Golden West Invitational on February 22.
