The Santa Ana College (SAC) women's basketball team lost to visiting Fullerton College 80-44 in an Orange Empire Conference game. The loss drops the Dons to 5-15 overall and 0-6 in conference while Fullerton improves to 15-7 and 4-1.

The Hornets opened the game on a 16-0 run led by Aunjanay Chambers who scored seven points in the first six minutes. The Dons battled back to cut Fullerton's lead to nine on a Janelle Flores, making the score 24-15.

However, the Hornets would pull away to a 40-21 lead at the half before the teams nearly duplicated the score in the second half with Fullerton going on to the 80-44 victory.

Chambers led all scorers with 23 points while Anna Nguyen led the Dons with 15 points in the loss.
