SANTA ANA, Calif. - Sonya Carnal concluded her big day with a walk-off single in the eighth inning to lead the Dons to a 3-2 win against the Mt. San Jacinto College Eagles.

The sophomore infielder collected her first two hits of the season while driving in all three runs for the Dons. 

Sophomore pitcher Ale Guzman had an impressive performance in the circle to pick up her first win of the year. Guzman gave up just two runs and got out of a few tough spots in eight innings of work. 

With the win, SAC has now won two consecutive games and are looking to take that momentum into their doubleheader against LA Mission on Friday, February 23rd.
