The Dons opened their 2015 campaign with an even mark at the Bakersfield Duals held at Bakersfield College. The Dons two wins came against the host Renegades as well as East Los Angeles College. West Hills College and Cuesta College were responsible for the Dons two losses.

Against Bakersfield, the Dons posted a 23-16 victory with wins from Jose Chona, Ronald Collister, Landon Myers, Eric Roberts, Armon Fayyazi and Ty Freeman. Roberts won his match with a score of 19-3 while Fayyazi posted the only victory via a fall.

Against East Los Angeles, the Dons cruised to a 45-6 win with the only blemish coming due to a forfeit. Chona, Myers and Roberts each won by fall while Gustavo Anaya, Leonel Perez and Abraham Aguilar each picked up their first wins of the day. Chona and Collister continued on their undefeated day in the Dons match up with West Hills despite the 21-17 team loss. Fayyazi, Freeman and Aguilar each added another win apiece.

Chona and Collister capped off their undefeated run through the dual with wins against Cuesta while the team was edged by one point in the 23-22 loss. Myers and Roberts were the only other Dons to win during this round.
