Dons Women’s Soccer Falls to MSJC, 2-0

SANTA ANA, Calif. - Santa Ana Women's Soccer allowed two goals in the first half against the Mt. San Jacinto Eagles which led to a 2-0 loss in Friday's non-conference match.

The Eagles managed to score in the 17th and 36th minutes while the Dons were still feeling out the game.

In the second half, Santa Ana made adjustments including sophomore Wendy Millan moving up to play forward to put more pressure on the defense. The Dons held on to the ball and shot four more times than they did in the first half but it was still not enough.

With the loss, SAC drops to a record of 0-2-1 while MSJC moves to 4-1 overall.

The Dons will be back at home on Tuesday to host College of the Desert at 2:00 p.m. The Desert Roadrunners will enter the match with a 2-1-2 record.
