The Santa Ana College women's swimming team lost to Cypress College in an Orange Empire Conference meet. The meet, held at Cypress College, was the first meet of the season for the Dons.

The Dons competed in eight of the 16 events started by the relay team of Lauren Stier, Sabrina Mercer, Margareli Ortiz and Chelsie Dudevoir turning in a time of 2:42.69 in the 100 medley relay.

Dudevoir and Ortiz finished in third and fifth respectively in the 50-meter freestyle with Stier taking fourth in the 100-meter back stroke. In the 50-meter fly, Mercer finished third followed by Ortiz in fifth.

In the 100-meter freestyle Stier finished in third followed by Ortiz in fifth before Stier took second in the 50-meter back stroke. Mercer turned in a second place finish as well in the 100-meter individual medley followed by Dudevoir in fourth.

In the final event, Mercer and Dudevoir finished in third and fifth for the Dons in the 50-meter back stroke.
