SAC Volleyball Says Goodbye to Three on Sophomore Night

SANTA ANA, Calif. – It was an emotional night inside Bill Cook Gym as the Santa Ana volleyball team took on Fullerton College in its last match of the 2019 season on Tuesday night.

Before the match began, the Dons had a short ceremony to celebrate their sophomores who played in their final match for the program.

SOPHOMORES

Taylor Hernandez: In two seasons with the Santa Ana volleyball team, Taylor has collected over 400 assists, 115 digs, 51 kills and 21 aces. Her versatility and leadership have made her a valuable piece of the program. Taylor is set to transfer to Cal State Fullerton after graduating from SAC

Virideana Pacheco: Viri has been a consistent presence at the net for the Dons in her two seasons at middle blocker. The sophomore from Godinez High has 72 total blocks to go with 44 kills and 16 digs in her career. Although she had some tough injuries in her time her, she kept a positive attitude and continued to work hard. Viri plans to attend Cal State Fullerton next year.

Lizbeth Uribe: Liz has been with the program for two years and has been an incredible teammate the whole way through. She always works hard, supports her teammates and we couldn't hope for a better person to be a part of our group. Liz plans to transfer to Cal State Dominguez following graduation.
