Dons Place 12th Overall at John Elders Titan Invite

FULLERTON, Calif. - Santa Ana Men's Cross Country placed 12th overall out of 16 teams that competed in the John Elders Titan Invite on Friday, October 21st. The Dons held their own against a field filled with universities, club teams and community colleges in an 8K race on the campus of Cal State Fullerton. 

Once again, Aldo Trujillo led the Dons with a 61st place finish and a time of 26:16.5. Coming in second with solid performance was Bryce Tanikawa, clocking in at 27:39.8 which was good for 125th place. 

Matthew Seminiano followed closely behind as the freshman finished in 130th place at a time of 27:55.5. 

The trio of Jesus Espinoza (29:16.7 -155th), Jean Rico (29:23.1 - 156th) and Zahid Sadat (29:49.5 - 167th) rounded out the group to finish the night strong. 

Santa Ana will now prepare for the Orange Empire Conference Championships on Friday morning. The men's race will start at 11:00 a.m. at Central Park in Huntington Beach.
