EAST LOS ANGELES - The Dons had 10 of their 12 wrestlers place at the CCCAA Southern Regional Finals at East Los Angeles College, giving them a fourth place overall finish. Andrew Schulte, Jacob Blackwell and Juan Hernandez each won their respective weight classes while Schulte was name the Lower Weight Most Valuable Player.

Following the three champions were Richard Miranda and Nathan Mateo who each took third place, Christian Hauser who took fourth place, Aaron Dubois and Alfredo Nava who each took fifth place, and Landon Myers and Raul Hernandez who each took sixth place. Each of the Dons wrestlers that place in the top-six will now advance to the CCCAA State Championships held at San Joaquin Delta College on December 13th and 14th.

The team scored 141.5 points, placing them just behind Palomar College with 142 points. Cuesta College placed second with 146 points while Mt. San Antonio College easily won the team championship with 184 points.
