SANTA ANA - In the first game of a home-and-home series with Los Angeles Harbor College, the Dons got their seventh win of the season following the 5-1 win over the Seahawks.

The story of the game belonged to Matt Blanchard who improved to 3-0 for the Dons in three starts. Blanchard allowed just one run on four hits over six innings of work with three strikeouts.

Offensively, Ryan Aguilar accounted for four of the Dons five runs as he had three RBI while also scoring one run. Aguilar's first RBI, a single to left field that scored Joshua Vargas, proved to be the game-winner. He added two more RBI in the sixth inning on a double to left-centerfield. Aguilar eventually came around to score the Dons final run of the game on a RBI-single by JB Bryant.

The Dons first run of the game came in the first inning when Bryant reached second base on an error, took third on a groundout by Tyler Madrid and scored on a RBI-single by Daniel Martinez.

Freddy Jung took the loss for Harbor after allowing four runs on four hits in five innings of work.

These two teams meet again tomorrow, February 15, at Los Angeles Harbor College with the first pitch at 2:00 p.m.
