Bryant and Vargas Named First Team All-Orange Empire Conference

Following the 2013 season, the Dons placed five players on the All-Orange Empire Conference Team led by JB Bryant and Joshua Vargas on First Team. Joining them were Ryan Aguilar, Tyler Madrid and Daniel Martinez who were each named Second Team All-OEC.

Bryant led the Dons during OEC competition with his .398 batting average while also compiling a pair of doubles, a home run and 11 RBI. Vargas hit .301 for the Dons in the OEC with five doubles, a home run and 14 RBI. Both players also excelled on the field with Bryant posting a .967 fielding percentage while Vargas had a .958 fielding percentage.

On the Second Team, Aguilar was selected with his .344 batting average which was third on the team. Madrid led the team with 20 RBI and six doubles in the OEC while batting .241. Martinez rounded out the Dons selections with his .307 batting average, four doubles and 10 RBI.

On the season, the Dons finished 21-14 but struggled in the OEC as they posted an 8-13 record.
