Dons Land Five on 2018 All-OEC Teams

SANTA ANA, Calif. – The Santa Ana men's soccer team has landed five student-athletes on the 2018 All-Orange Empire Conference teams after finishing third in the conference standings.

Paulo Gama, Miguel Gomez and Frank Aguilar earned first team honors while Carlos Guerra and Frankie Camacho made the second team.

Gama returns to the OEC All-Conference team being named to the second team in his freshman season just a year ago, while Gomez showed much improvement to make the team for the first time as a sophomore. The sophomore duo combined for three goals and six assists the for Dons in 2018.

Newcomers Aguilar, Guerra and Camacho gave the Dons a much needed boost in their first collegiate season. Aguilar was impressive at goalkeeper, picking up 69 saves in 17 games played while defenders Guerra and Camacho made it tough for teams to get through their back line.

Santa Ana will continue their season as they host Los Angeles Mission College in the first round of the CCCAA Men's Soccer Southern Regional Playoffs on Saturday, November 17th at 2:00 p.m.
