Oseguera Scores First of the Season to Give Santa Ana 2-1 Win Over IVC

SANTA ANA, Calif. – Bryan Oseguera put away the go ahead goal in the 56th minute of Santa Ana's Orange Empire Conference match against Irvine Valley to help the No. 16 ranked Dons pick up a 2-1 win.

The midfielder's first goal of the season couldn't have come at a better time as the Dons needed a win to get themselves back in the mix of the OEC standings.

Kevin Ruiz also came up clutch for the Dons as he knocked in a ball from Felipe Sanchez III in the 36th minute to tie the score a 1-1.

Before that, the IVC Lasers had all the momentum, getting off shot after shot until Max Kleinhammes put a header in the net off a corner kick in the eighth minute.

Frank Aguilar had another solid match with five saves in 90 minutes while his counter part Nathan King recorded three saves in the same amount of time.

The win gives Santa Ana their first in OEC play, pushing them up two spots in the standings.
