Four Named All-Conference for SAC Men’s Soccer

SANTA ANA, Calif. – Four members of the Santa Ana men's soccer team were named to the 2019 All- Orange Empire Conference teams after a fourth place finish and another playoff berth for the program.

Marcelo Aguirre and Felipe Sanchez III landed on the first team in their freshmen season while sophomores Carlos Guerra and Abel Bautista made the second team.

Aguirre provided much of the Santa Ana offense with seven assists and five goals in 21 games. He racked up 17 total points to go with one game winner. Sanchez III started in every game this season, controlling the middle of the field for the Dons. He finished with three assists on the year.

Guerra was a rock in the backline for Santa Ana as he consistently made big tackles throughout the season. He started in all 22 games and was voted all-conference for the second consecutive year. Fellow sophomore Bautista padded the stats, matching Aguirre for the team high in assists at seven. He also collected three goals, which were all game winners.
