WALNUT - The Dons wrestling team started the 2014 season at the Mt. San Antonio College Dual Tournament. SAC opened the tournament with a 25-21 win over East Los Angeles College but was unable to pick up another victory for the remainder of the day.

That victory came in round two after the Dons drew a first round bye. But round three found the Dons falling to the host Mounties 38-6 before Palomar College claimed a 32-9 win over the Dons. In the fifth, and final round, the Dons lost to Bakersfield College 31-21 to end their day.

Despite the slow team start, the Dons got a strong performance from Richard Miranda who finished 4-0 on the day, including a 19-1 technical fall in his first match of the day. Complete results can be found below.
