Dons Host 11 Colleges in 2014 SAC Tournament, Finish Eighth Overall

SANTA ANA - With three placers, the Dons finished eighth overall in their host Santa Ana College Tournament held in Cook Gym. With 11 colleges competing and 24 scoring teams, the tournament was once again a success for the Dons wrestling program.

Joaquin Collister led the way for the Dons as he took second place in the 149 pound weight class while Richard Miranda took third at 157 pounds and Micah Macias also took third, at 174 pounds.

Overall, it was Cerritos College that took first place as a team while Mt. San Antonio College took second and Fresno City College third. The lower weight MVP went to Mt. SAC's Terrill Sidner while the upper weight MVP went to Palomar College's Alexander Graves.
