SANTA ANA, Calif. - The Santa Ana College baseball and softball teams are excited to return to play following the release of their 2021 Spring II schedules.
SAC baseball finished the 2020 season with a record of 18-4, 3-2 and ranked as high number two in the state. With many players regaining eligibility to play at the community college level, the Dons will get some help from familiar faces such as James Williams, Josh Haley and Micah Pieatila-Wiggs. They will start the 2021 season on the road on Tuesday, April 13th against Golden West College.
The Don softball team is coming off a solid 2020 season where they won five of their last six games, closing the year with a 13-7, 4-4 record. They will also get a big boost from the statewide eligibility decision with the return of Cal Baptist commit Emily Rosas as well as sophomores Kayla Avina and Aspen Kyles. Softball will open the season at home on Wednesday, April 14th against Golden West College.
