Dons Cruise to 8-0 Victory over Visiting Palomar College

SANTA ANA - The Dons made up their game with Palomar College today and won convincingly by a score of 8-0. The game, originally scheduled for September 17, was postponed due to excessive heat.

The Dons (3-0-3) used three, first-half goals by Uriel Rebollar, Abraham Luna and Victor Bravo to take a 3-0 lead into the break. Assisting on those goals were Carlos Martinez, Abraham Reyes and Alan Rosas.

The flurry of goals continued in the second half with Francisco Vasquez, Ivan Bastida, Guillermo Saldana, Alejandro Melendez and Ibrahim Kebe each adding a goal as the Dons had eight different goal scorers in the match. Derian Lopez assisted on two of the goals in the second half while Daniel Solis assisted on the game's final goal.

Dennis Hernandez and Victor Osorio combined in goal for the Dons to post SAC's third shutout of the season.

The Dons travel to Cuyamaca College this Friday for their final non-conference match before starting Orange Empire Conference play next Tuesday at Golden West College.
