SANTA ANA - The Dons dropped their final home game of the season 2-1 to Orange Coast College in an Orange Empire Conference match. With the loss, the Dons drop to 10-6-4 overall and 6-6-1 in conference while Orange Coast improves to 6-6-7 overall and 5-4-4 in conference.

After a scoreless first half, the Pirates scored twice on goals by Carlos Valencia in the 54th minute and Ramin Amindari in the 60th minute. Blake Mooney assisted the first goal while Maximiliano Aceves assisted the second.

Finally, in the 80th minute, the Dons got on the board when Oliver Pineda scored on a shot off a blocked shot. That gave the Dons a chance to look for the equalizer in the final 10 minutes, but the Coast defense held the Dons to preserve the win.

The Dons close out the regular season on Friday when they travel to Irvine Valley College.
