SANTA ANA, Calif. - Santa Ana Softball standouts Jojo Westerfield and Sierra Griego were selected to the 2023 Softball All-Orange Empire Conference teams. 

Westerfield was voted to the All-OEC First Team for the second consecutive season after getting hot in the second half of the year. The sophomore infielder from El Dorado hit .463 in OEC in hits (31) runs batted in (22), on base percentage (.486) and slugging (.657) to lead the Don offense. 

In her only year with SAC Softball, Griego played a critical role as she tracked down balls all over the outfield. The sophomore out of Diamond Bar also excelled at the plate as she averaged .338 with 12 runs batted in while leading the team in extra base hits (9) in OEC play. 

The Dons will reload for next year after finishing 14-24, 10-11 and placing fourth in the Orange Empire Conference standings.
