Dons Play Orange Coast Tight but Unable to Find Offense in 1-0 Loss

SANTA ANA - For the second time this season, the Dons lost to Orange Coast College by a score of 1-0. In both matches, the Dons (2-13-2,0-10-2) kept the Pirates (9-3-3,7-3-2) at bay offensively but were not able to find an offense of their own.

The lone goal of the match came in the 26th minute when Orange Coast's Annmarie Moreno's throw-in found Karly Freeman in the box. Freeman then got a quick touch on the ball and found Kamille Cawley who scored on a virtually empty net.

Offensively, the Dons managed just three shots in the game, with all three of them being saved by the Pirates keeper, Emily Harrier. Priscilla Suarez kept the Dons in the game as she made eight saves in 90 minutes while allowing just one goal.
