Santa Ana College Baseball - State Championships Preview

SANTA ANA, Calif. - The Santa Ana College Baseball team will travel North to compete in the California Community College Athletic Association (3C2A) State Championships from May 27-29th at Folsom Lake College.

Santa Ana was seeded fourth in the Southern California bracket and hosted all three regional playoff rounds en route to the final four. With an overall record of 33-15, SAC will now be re-seeded as the No. 2 from the South and will face off with the host school, Folsom Lake College, on day one of the four team tournament on May 27th at 6:00 p.m.

The Dons have proven that they have one of the best lineups in the state as they rank in the top six in runs, homeruns, runs batted in and walks. But they will be tested, as Folsom Lake has put up similar numbers on the offensive end. SAC hopes they can win a slugfest and meet up with the winner between Saddleback College and Sierra College on day two.
