SANTA ANA – The Dons were shutout at home 2-0 by visiting Golden West College in an Orange Empire Conference match. The loss drops the Dons to 4-6-4 overall and 3-2-2 in conference while Golden West improves to 8-2-4 and 4-1-2. The loss also drops the Dons out of second place in the conference, while the Rustlers remain in that slot.

Golden West's goals came in the 36th minute by Adrian Montes on a long shot and in the 68th minute by Jorge Pineda, with Mark Hernandez assisting on the second goal.

The Dons strongest scoring opportunity came in the second half with Jangho Yoon's long shot in the 63rd minute going off the keeper's fingertips before hitting the post.

In goal, Cyrus Mohseni and Ismael Rivera split time for the Dons with equal stats of one save apiece and goal against apiece. For the Rustlers, Ignacio Monteon didn't face a single shot in the first half while Johnny Garcia made two saves in the second half.
