Dons Snap Slide with 4-1 Win over Fullerton

SANTA ANA - The Dons picked up their first win in four matches with a 4-1 victory over Fullerton College. In their previous three matches, the Dons had a tie before back-to-back losses prior to today's win which improves them to 5-6-4 overall and 4-2-2 in conference while Fullerton drops to 3-10-2 overall and 1-5-2 in conference.

The Dons first goal of the match came in the 15th minute with Jangho Yoon heading in a corner kick by Dong Beom Seo. Just two minutes later, Kavian Kashani extended the Dons lead to 2-0 when he scored on a free kick from just outside the box.

In the second half, Seo scored in the 59th minute when he dribbled past three Fullerton defenders before beating the keeper one-on-one. The final goal came in the 62nd minute when Seo sent a pass over the top of the defense, freeing Jose Contreras who beat the keeper for the goal.

Fullerton's goal came in the 77th minute when Brian Pacheco converted a penalty kick following a SAC foul in the box.

In goal, all three of the Dons keepers got playing time with Ismael Rivera getting the start. He logged 71 minutes and made one save before Andres Figueroa made one save, with one goal allowed in eight minutes. Finally Cyrus Mohseni made a diving save for the Dons as he closed out the final 11 minutes of the match. Fullerton's Juan Carlos Ramirez played all 90 minutes and made five saves with four goals against.
