SANTA ANA - The Dons season came to an end today following their 6-2 loss to Southwestern College in game three of the CCCAA Super Regionals. In today's deciding game, the Dons (28-13) offense struggled as Southwestern (29-12) got a dominant, complete game performance out of Dylan McDonald.

For McDonald, this was his second appearance of the series after picking up the save in Friday's game one. The Dons scored first in the second inning on a RBI-triple by Nestor Linares but failed to score again until a solo home run by Daniel Martinez, Jr. in the ninth inning.

But by that point, it was too little too late as the Jaguars scored two runs in the third, one in the fourth, one in the seventh and two in the eighth to establish a 6-1 lead going into the ninth.

McDonald (3-2) got the win as he held the Dons to just two runs on six hits over nine innings while striking out six batters. For the Dons, Evanne Wilkes (4-3) took the loss after allowing three runs on five hits in four innings of work.
