After playing one of the toughest schedules in Southern California, the Dons were rewarded with a home playoff series this weekend against the College of the Desert. The Dons (26-14, 12-9 OEC) were seeded eighth in the California Community College Athletic Association Softball Southern Regional Championships and will play host to #9 College of the Desert (29-8, 12-2 Foothill).

The first game of the best-two-out-of-three series will be played at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 4. The two teams will get back together for game two on Sunday, May 5 at 12:00 p.m. If necessary, a third and final game will be played at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. The winner of the series will advance to the CCCAA Softball Southern Super Regional Championships the following weekend.
