SANTA ANA - The Dons suffered a 5-0 loss to visiting Saddleback College today in an Orange Empire Conference match. The loss drops the Dons to 2-11-4 on the season and 1-8-4 in conference while Saddleback improves to 11-3-3 and 7-3-3.

Monica Venturini scored the Gauchos first goal in the 35th minute before Danyelle Allen scored less than one minute later. Allen would go on to score three more goals for Saddleback in the second half. Her second goal came in the 46th minute before she scored in the 54th minute on an assist from Venturini. Allen's final goal, assisted by Paige Guldner, came in the 88th minute.

Cristina Lizarraga made seven saves for the Dons as she faced 12 shots on goal while Alexandria Scott and Savanna Hilton combined for the shutout. Scott made the Gauchos only save as she played 73 minutes in goal.
