"It's a great thing to have them on campus," said Jaymie Baquero, Head Women's Soccer Coach at SAC. "That's our field and we're proud of what we have. The fact that the US National Team felt that it was the best place for them to train is fantastic. The team here at Santa Ana has something special, they use a field that two national teams have competed and trained on."

Jose Vasquez, Head Men's Soccer Coach at SAC, said the experience was priceless for him.

"It's unbelievable," Vasquez said. "How many times can you say you had a national team train on your facility prior to a World Cup? It's an unbelievable experience."

The US National Team will now play a match against Mexico on May 17 at the StubHub Center in Carson, CA before heading to New Jersey to take on Korea Republic. Group stage at the FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015 begins in June with Team USA playing Australia on June 8.
