Keila Tenorio and Kristen Hooper Named All-Orange Empire Conference

Two of the Dons top four hitters were awarded with All-Orange Empire Conference honors following the Dons fourth place finish. Freshman infielder Keila Tenorio was named First-Team All-OEC while sophomore catcher Kristen Hooper received Second-Team All-OEC honors.

Tenorio batted .343 during OEC competition while starting in all 21 conference games. Her 23 hits, 13 RBI and six doubles all led the team during conference play while also hit two of the team's three triples.

On the season, Tenorio finished second on the Dons with .391 batting average with a team-high 26 RBI, nine doubles and four triples. She also stole 15 bases in 18 attempts while scoring 24 runs.

She was joined by Hooper who led the team from behind the plate. Hooper caught the Dons pitching staff that posted a 3.62 ERA while throwing out 14 baserunners. Hooper also batted .237 with six RBI, four doubles and seven runs score.

Hooper's batted .336 on the season while driving in 22 runs with six doubles, two triples and one home run. She also anchored the pitching staff that combined for a .354 ERA while throwing out 17 baserunners on 32 attempts.
