After the Dons opened the season 3-0, they were awarded with the season's first set of accolades as Frances Campoy was named the SoCal Pitcher of the Week and Keila Tenorio was named the SoCal Player of the Week. See the full release here.

Southern California Player of the Week – Keila Tenoria – Santa Ana College
Sophomore Keila Tenorio helped get the Dons off to a 3-0 start. Tenorio was 6 for 8 at the plate, with a double, a triple, two RBI's, and four runs scored. Tenorio is a outfielder for the Dons.

Southern California Pitcher of the Week – Frances Campoy – Santa Ana College
Sophomore Frances Campoy factored into all three of the Dons victories to open the season. After being the winning pitcher in the Dons first two games, Campoy earned the save in the Dons 9-4 victory over defending state champion Palomar, holding the Comets to just one hit over four innings. Campoy allowed just six hits total in her 14 innings of work while recording six strikeouts. She also allowed just one unearned run to keep a 0.00 ERA as she went 2-0 with one save.
