Following their 2014 campaign that found the Dons with a 32-8 overall record, and a #2 ranking in the state's RPI, the Dons were rewarded with the #5 seed in the upcoming CCCAA Softball Southern Regional Playoffs and will host #12 Allan Hancock College.

The two teams start their best-two-out-of-three playoff series this Saturday, May 3 at 2:00 p.m.The series continues on Sunday, May 4 with game two at 12:00 p.m. If needed, a third game will be played on Sunday at 2 p.m. All games will be played at Santa Ana College.

The Dons enter the playoffs out of the Orange Empire Conference where their 16-5 conference mark placed them in a tie for second place with Riverside City College. Allan Hancock College was the champion of the Western State Conference, Gold Division with a 15-3 conference mark and a 26-13 overall record.

Admission for this weekend's games is $10 for general admission and $7 for for students, faculty, staff, senior citizens (60 and over) and children (under 12).
