The Santa Ana College baseball team received the third seed in the 2012 California Community College Athletic Association Baseball Southern Regional Playoffs and will host #14 San Bernardino Valley College.
The two teams will begin their best two-out-of-three playoff series on Saturday, May 5 at Santa Ana College at 1:00 p.m. and will continue the series on Sunday, May 6 at 11:00 a.m. A third game, if necessary would begin approximately 30 minutes after game two. The winner of the best two-out-of-three series will advance to the Super Regionals to be held the weekend of May 11-13.
The Dons qualified for the postseason following their 29-7 season while finishing second in the Orange Empire Conference with a 16-5 mark. San Bernardino Valley took second place in the Foothill Conference with a 16-8 conference record and a 21-14-1 overall record.
