Clough Dominant Again in Dons 7-1 Win over East Los Angeles

The Santa Ana College (SAC) baseball team defeated East Los Angeles College 7-1 behind another strong performance from starting pitcher Bryan Clough.

Clough struck out five batters over six innings while holding the Huskies (4-5) to just one run, unearned, on three hits. With the win, Clough improved to 3-1 on the season while the Dons improved to 9-2 as a team.

Offensively, the Dons were held without a hit through the first two innings before breaking out with five runs on six hits in the third inning. Blake Walker hit a two-run double before scoring on Andy Peterson's triple.

Peterson came around to score on a double by Tyler Madrid before Dylan Jones' RBI-single brought Madrid home to cap off the scoring.

The Dons final two runs came in the fifth inning when Jones scored Peterson on a sacrifice fly before Brandon Baxter singled in Madrid.
